Endurance Training
Endurance training is essential for most sports and events. Even for power lifting, bodybuilding and strongman competition are power and strength based sports that require a solid aerobic base –for in order to repeat short explosive bouts of activity over prolonged periods of time. If your sport requires a high level of stamina... and there's a good chance it does, sport-specific endurance conditioning must form an integral part of your training plan.
Build up your endurance gradually. Pick an exercise and/or exercise program, and start out first with 2minutes of continuing exercise rest for 1minute and repeat the activity again for 3 rounds. As this gets easier increase the rounds only until you can do 6-8 rounds of exercise activity with 1minute of rest in between.
When you have increased your level of rounds and that becomes easy, increase it to 3 minute rounds with 1minute rest in between.
